Bull Terrier Puppy from CKC Registered Breeder in BC Canada

Where is Lomond Bull Terriers located?
We are in Black Creek, about half way between the Comox Valley and Campbell River on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. We have 2/3 acre property where our puppies are raised.

Are you a Registered Bull Terrier Breeder in Canada?
Yes, we are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), and all our dogs are fully registered with the CKC. Our dogs regularly participate in CKC Conformation Shows and have achieved titles with the CKC.

Do you sell puppies outside of British Columbia? Yes, we accept applications for puppies from across Canada, and in some cases we would consider international applications. At this time we are unable to sell puppies under 6 months to homes in the USA, due to rules from the CDC banning the import of any dogs under 6 months to the US. Please note that you would need to travel to us to collect your puppy. We do not ship puppies. If you have questions about your location please get in touch.

How often do you have litters? We have a very limited number of litters, as we would breed each female a maximum of 2-3 times. If you are interested in a puppy, please don’t delay getting on our list! Our intake form can be found here –> INTAKE FORM

Puppies and Availability

How do I apply for a Lomond Bull Terrier puppy?
The first step is to complete our intake form. This doesn’t commit you to a puppy, but it is an essential step if you’d like to be considered as a potential home. After that we will arrange a time to talk in more detail!

How do you choose homes for bull terrier puppies? We take a number of factors into consideration when choosing potential homes for puppies. Every potential puppy owner is considered individually and on its own merits. For that reason, we have a process that includes a detailed conversation with potential homes, so we can learn about you, your lifestyle, experience with the breed etc. We don’t select based on a first-come-first-serve basis. Instead we aim to match each puppy to the best home so we can set everyone up for success.

How much do Bull Terrier puppies cost?
The 2026 price for a puppy is $4,500 CAD. This reflects the health testing of parents and puppies, veterinary care, high standards of puppy care and training, and CKC Registration. We are active members of a network of responsible BC Breeders who keep pricing at a fair, sustainable level to protect the breed and discourage unethical breeding practices.

Do you require a deposit?
We do not take deposits at the time of application. A payment of 50% would be required only once we have a puppy for you. This payment (50% of the total) will secure your puppy, and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due prior to picking up your puppy.

At what age can puppies go to their new homes?
Puppies are usually ready to go home at 8-9 weeks.

Health and Ethics

What health testing do you perform on your Bull Terriers?
Potential parent dogs are tested for Lethal Acrodermatitis (LAD) and Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), and will have an OFA echocardiogram done to check for heart disease which can be an issue in this breed. They will be checked for Patellar Luxation by a vet, and will have had BAER hearing tests performed as puppies to check for congenital deafness. Our puppies will have a full genetic panel done, plus BAER hearing tests at 6-8 weeks.

Are your puppies vet-checked and vaccinated?
All our puppies are checked carefully by a vet, and will receive their first round of vaccines at 8 weeks, prior to going home. They will have a hearing test (BAER) done at 6-8 weeks, and will be microchipped. Routine deworming is done at vet-recommended intervals.

Do you take puppies back if things don’t work out?
Yes. In fact, we get you to sign a contract that states you MUST return the puppy to us if things don’t work out! It is of the utmost importance to us that no dog we bred ends up in a shelter or a precarious situation, and this applies for the lifetime of your dog.
